The Purpose
The purpose of this blog is to have a platform to express my ideas, creations, goals, and ultimately dreams. Not everything that I talk about will be a complete thought, but closer to "speaking" out loud. One day I would love to have additional contributors to this site. While it bears my name, I do not take full credit for all ideas as many of my thoughts are formed through conversation with intelligent people.

Questions and Answers
Where does your desire to build come from?
My desire to build probably comes from a desire to have nice things, but not being able to find something perfect that doesn’t cost an absorbent amount of money. There are a few pieces of furniture that I will probably always purchase such as couches, chairs, and things with hinges (more on that another day).
What mediums are you interested in?
I am interested in many different mediums. The majority of my work so far has been with wood. I’ve received a bit of instruction on stained glass from my wonderful mother, but currently don’t have the facilities to adequately pursue that hobby. My least favorite so far is fabric, but that may be due to not having a sewing machine and attempting to hand-sew.
To what extent are your past life experiences shown in your work?
There aren’t many things in my past life, such as travel and family experiences, that affect my current work. The thing that affects current projects the most is my increased knowledge that I gain from trying new things in past projects.
You mentioned your preference of functionality over non-functionality. What caused this?
I’ve always had an differing opinion on the subject of art compared to others. I love architecture and construction which originally influenced my decision to go into civil engineering.
Why did you choose to start a blog?
I’ve always wanted to write more, but never came up with any good ideas. So for now, all of those poor ideas will be lumped together into a set that may turn them into something better. Having a reason to come back to old ideas might keep them alive. Hopefully with additional exposure, perhaps my future career in computer science might be brighter.
What future projects are you looking into?
Aside from a few woodworking projects and a table that is in the middle of construction, in the future I will be attempting to write a program focusing on inventory control and point of sale. I’m skeptical. Additionally I’m continuing my work with Blender and Unity, so perhaps one day I’ll have a simple game to show.
